My Little Pony: A New Generation review
Rebirth These reviews do contain spoilers. Read on at your own discretion. Two years have passed since the conclusion of My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic. While there were comics still about our favorite ponies, but those are coming to an end. The FiM comics are concluding and aside from a crossover with G1, it’ll soon be time for G4 to be put to the side. Instead, it’s time to look towards the next generation of ponies and who’s going to be passed the torch and try to carry on the legacy of the show. This is something the new generation of MLP has to carry and it’s a very heavy burden. Let’s face it, FiM basically changed MLP forever and brought about a new change to the overall franchise. It’s breakaway from the previous generations and overly cutesy stuff was ditched in favor of more of an adventure type series that wasn’t afraid to get really action packed when it needed. FiM did stumble towards the end, but it’s still highly regarded as one of the best cartoons ever. So it’s

Let's talk about G5 of MLP
Well, the day has finally come, ladies and gentlemen. The day we've been anxiously (or in some cases fearing) has come; the arrival of G5 of MLP. I've often said and believed that the next generation of MLP had massive big shoes to fill. After all, Friendship is Magic left a massive impression on the series as a whole. It raised the bar and pretty much set a new golden standard for MLP in general. Whether you've been through the show to the very end, or just lost interest somewhere along the line there's no denying how much of an impact FiM had as a whole. So after over a year and a half since the series finale, Hasbro has finally come out with their new look, albeit early due to someone leaking bedsheets online involving G5. So let's take a look at it. So first impressions we can already see is the fact that this is moving onto 3D art instead of the 2D we've been so used to seeing. The production value looks pretty good for what it is, and it doesn't look too terrible. There's

In the seventh season of the show, we were introduced to the Pillars of Equestria. They were considered the first group of heroes in Equestria that banded together to fight evil and bring harmony to Equestria. After being sent to Limbo to stop one of their own and coming back to Equestria 1,000 years later, they brought their friend back and have since gone their own ways to explore what Equestria has become. The idea of that sounded like it would make for some excellent stories to be told in the show, and give us a bit more insight about the Pillars themse

MLP: FiM Season 7 review
A.N. I know I'm aware of how late I am doing something like this, and I apologize. Things have been hectic for me and I've had little time to relax. I know I didn't do something like this for season 6. I did plan to do it, but part of me got lazy and part of me also had to deal with some personal matters. Anyway, enjoy!
Another season of FiM has come to an end, and now it's time to look back at it. Season 7 of FiM has certainly been one of the more interesting seasons of the show. It feels like this season was trying to do two things; continue to expand the characters, but also recapture elements from the early days of the show. The results

Adventures in Foalsitting 2: Electric Boogaloo
When Princess Flurry Heart was introduced, so many questions popped up. How can alicorn be born naturally? Why are her wings bigger than her body? Why did nopony put a magic prevention ring on her to stop her massive chaotic magical use? But, there was one question that quickly came to mind; when would we get the obligatory babysitting episode for her? The answer, not in season six, but in season seven they went with it. As soon as this episode was revealed, people immediately thought this would be a revisit of another episode in the past; Baby Cakes.
Depending on who you ask, Baby Cakes is eit

Daybreak
A strange beeping noise echoed in Rarity’s ears. She grunted and tossed around a little.
Is that one of those strange electronics that Button brings over to show Sweetie? she wondered. I’ll have to remind him to be sure to take them home, and for both of them to stay out of my room.
She snuggled against what felt like to be a very soft cloud, and let out a contented sigh. My goodness. I don’t remember my mattress feeling so divine and delicate.
She wearily opened her heavy eyelids and saw nothing but a big blur at first. She rubbed her eyes as she rose up, and everything started clearing up. She heard the beepin

Rainbow smirked as she looked down upon the unconscious ponies. “Now that’s what I’m talking about!” she shouted.
Twilight rubbed her horn from the intense amount of magic use Pinkie had put her through. “Ugh, my horn and head are sore,” she whined.
She heard a low groan, and looked over to it’s source, and saw a yellow unicorn struggling to keep his balance as his horn glowed. He aimed his horn up where Rainbow was flying.
“No!” Twilight shouted.
The unicorn fired an energy blast from his horn. He smiled contently and turned around, only to be met with a hoof

Rarity busted through the door and gasped for air. “Oh...Perhaps I should start doing some more walking.” She looked around the area, and felt a bit relieved. “It seems nopony is up here...yet, that is.”
She trotted down the hallway, but felt a little uneasy. The fire alarm’s lights were flashing, but they weren’t blaring anymore. The sound of her hoofsteps echoed along the hallway. As she stopped to look around again, the only sounds she heard was the buzzing of the fluorescent lights, and the distant sound of thunder rumbling.
“There has to be a way up to the roof, but w
